Our hotel, located at the foothills of Mount Ida, which the ancient history writer Homer described as “the mother of animals, abundant resources, and Ida with a thousand springs”, has been designed to offer our valued guests, an unforgettable holiday pleasure with its nature and location. Acting as our motto ‘Your Home in İda Mount’, Manastırhan Hotel Kazdağları was renovated three years ago and started to serve with a new concept and style.

It is believed that the area where our hotel is located, located between Altınoluk and Akçay, at the foot of Mount Ida, was a Greek Monastery in the past. For this reason, the name of the river flowing next to our hotel is called Monastery River. Our hotel building, which was used as an khan where passengers stayed in the past, has been restored and serves as a boutique hotel today. Our hotel is located on the old Ottoman Izmir-Çanakkale road, next to the Monastery bridge and the river.  Our hotel, which consists of 2 separate stone structures, has 30 different room types. Our hotel offers a different experience in every season with our Summer and Winter Restaurant, Pool Bar, Cafeteria, meeting and conference halls, Yoga/meditation and event areas, is waiting for you to experience unforgettable moments in a relaxing and privileged environment.

Despite M. Kemal ATATÜRK postponing his country tours due to his illness and the last years of his life, he visited Burhaniye, Havran and Edremit districts between April 10-14, 1934 and finally came to Manastır Bridge and took a short break in the garden of our hotel. He had his coffee under the 480-year-old plane tree and presented its bust to the village headman Ahmet ALTAY as a gift. Therefore, the aforementioned 480-year-old giant plane tree was registered by the Council of Monuments and named Atatürk Tree.
